  • Description

This Schiedel ICID Plus pack is for an internal vertical flue that rises through a combustible (typically timber) floor, then out through a pitched roof. It is a scoped component pack for that layout — not a universal complete chimney for every bungalow or house.

Diameter and finish: 150 mm internal flue diameter, stainless steel outer case.

    What is included

    • 1 × insulated appliance connector (pushes into the stove outlet)
    • Twin-wall pipe for an illustrative internal rise (2 × about 960 mm, 1 × about 460 mm)
    • 1 × adjustable pipe (about 215–310 mm)
    • 1 × ventilated round firestop plate (G50) — lets cooling air move around the flue where it passes through a wooden floor, helping keep nearby timber at a safe distance
    • 1 × ventilated support plate (G50) — works with the firestop to support the flue at that floor and maintain the ventilated gap
    • 1 × roof support (carries the weight of the flue at roof level)
    • 1 × aluminium angled roof flashing for a pitched roof (about 5–45°)
    • 1 × storm collar — a metal ring that sits on the flashing and sheds rain away from the joint
    • 1 × raincap with bird mesh
    • 8 × locking bands

    What is not included

    • Extra firestops if the flue passes through more than one floor
    • A bungalow-only ceiling firestop arrangement (that uses different Schiedel parts)
    • The protective wire mesh frame that installers build in the loft to keep clearance to stored items
    • High-temperature paint near the stove, flat-roof flashing, or structural design
    • Guaranteed fit for every stove — match the flue diameter to the appliance maker’s instructions

Please note: Installation must comply with Building Regulations and Schiedel’s ICID Plus instructions. Use a competent person (typically HETAS-registered for solid fuel in England and Wales, or Building Control approval). With these G50 plates, Schiedel’s combustible-floor path uses a 50 mm ventilated clearance — follow the instructions for your exact floor and loft. This pack is not claimed as suitable for every property type.
