Isokern Magnum Firechest 1100 by Isokern Chimney Systems

The Isokern Magnum Firechest is the ultimate solution for creating a beautiful open fireplace in your home. It is lightweight due to being made from highly insulating pumice components which interlock to form a robust and sturdy fireplace recess. The joints are securely sealed by using a special lip glue jointing compound. To ensure the fireplace is stable, you will need to start from a suitable foundation and a constructional hearth. 

The Firechest has been designed to optimise the efficiency of burning wood in an open fire, with efficiencies ranging from 41% to 45% depending on the model. It can also be used with the optional flue damper to control the draft in the flue and reduce excessive heat loss when the fireplace is not in use. However, the damper should not be used with gas fires.

The Magnum 1100 Firechest comes with the required bricks and mortar, as well as the necessary 6 bags of lip glue for assembly. Its dimensions are 1130mm wide, 960mm high, 1230mm external width, 1761mm external height and 710mm external depth, and it weighs 790kg.
